RTA
The RTA of Central Maryland operates the bus transit system in Howard County. There are a number of routes that stop at the The Mall in Columbia. For details on those routes and schedules, please go to their website: transitrta.com. The Mall's Transit Center is located in the west parking lot close to Restaurant Row, Main Event and Lidl.

Family Fun Day is every Thursday at 10 am year-round on the Lower Leven in the Lord & Taylor Court. Join us for songs and entertainment with Miss Julie and friends.
The Mall in Columbia opens the main entrance doors at 6 am everyday for mall walking.
Mall mileage:
- Walking the upper level once is 4,275 feet or 3/4 of a mile plus 315 feet.
- Walking the lower level once is 3,975 feet or 3/4 of a mile plus 15 feet.
- Walking both levels of the mall is 8,250 feet or 1.5 miles plus 330 feet.
The Mall in Columbia is committed to providing a comfortable environment for all our guests. We require that those 18 and under be accompanied at all times by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older after 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We require that those under 17 be accompanied at all times by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older after 4pm Fridays and Saturdays.
